Claire and Lara met in graduate school at American University’s School of International Service, where they ran the American University Negotiation Project and crafted plans to take over the world. Claire and Lara share a love of traveling and spent time exploring Cyprus together while working at the State Department.

Andy is a horse trainer and riding instructor at Bascule Farm in Poolesville, MD. Andy and Lara became fast friends sharing their love of horses, absurd memes, and sushi.

Laura and Lara have been friends ever since Lara’s dad introduced them in Pre-K. A hippie at heart, Laura is committed to environmental causes and shares Lara’s love of animals and 90’s rock music.

Michelle Levenson

Michelle and Lara have been friends since kindergarten, when they attended the same elementary school. They also attended college together at Earlham College. Michelle is an avid rock climber, and currently lives in Israel.

Natalie and Lara became friends in college while riding and working at Earlham College Stables. Their horses Jay and Raven also became best buds. Natalie is finishing her PHD at Ball State University in Indiana.

Carlie is horse trainer and riding instructor at Bascule Farm in Poolesville, MD. Carlie and Lara became friends working with Lara’s horse Trillium. Carlie is a competitive dressage rider, and you can catch her and her horse Shtratego competing in Maryland and Virginia.

Karen is sister of the groom, and a veterinary technician in Chicago. Karen and Lara share a love of animals, both large and small.

Lindsay is sister of the groom, and a photographer in Detroit, specializing in weddings and engagements. Lindsay hid in the desert of Nevada to capture Brett and Lara’s engagement photos.
